KaliVeda
Toolkit for HIC analysis
KaliVeda

DOI

KaliVeda is an object oriented data analysis framework based on ROOT. It provides many tools of general interest for:

  • energy loss, stopping & range calculations for ions with E/A=1-100MeV;
  • particle reconstruction from energy losses in arbitrary multidetector geometries;
  • identification of particles in dE-E and PSA matrices;
  • management & treatment of large datasets;
  • refined analysis of multi-particle events;
  • interface to Gemini++ statistical decay code;

used in the study of higly-dissipative heavy-ion collisions and nuclear matter properties. The toolkit is developed and maintained for Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, ...) and MacOS X systems.

The KaliVeda toolkit is freely available to use - see Download/Install.
